I had the opportunity to design and furnish LifeSavvy Media’s first ever office space
This layout was all we were given by property management. There were no dimensions and the proportions were incorrect.
Once I went to see the office space in person, I took all the dimensions and created a floor plan drawing to reference in the design process.
I used the dimensions to create a 3D model. This allowed me to play with layout and furniture options. It also helped me communicate my ideas to others for approval.
Before
I selected a lighter carpet to brighten up the space and help it feel larger. Picking a patterned carpet helped as well. I decided to have the wall you first see when you enter as a dark accent wall. This was so I could have white signage installed.
